I call myself a writer, singer, songwriter, hopeless chef, avid dreamer and family cheerleader. But mostly, I'm just a mom like you. The Lord has blessed me with two delightful daughters, growing-up-too-fast age 5 and I-like-to-draw-with-markers-on-the-sofa age 2. As you can imagine, my husband and I are humbled daily by the joys and challenges of parenting. We're grateful for the Lord’s guidance and grace as we trip over dollies in the hallway and wipe sticky peanut-butter chins on a regular basis.

In addition to family life, I'm actively involved at my church, where I lead a weekly small-group Bible study for moms, and where I'm blessed to serve on the worship arts vocal team.

At the end of the day, when the kiddos are in bed, the laundry is (sometimes) folded and the sippy cups are hung to dry, I can be found snuggled on the couch with my laptop, posting these blog quips for fellow mommies who just want to raise our kids for the Lord as best we can.
